Who we are
Our website URL is: https://rct.ae.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the information provided in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent to assist with spam prevention.
An anonymized string derived from your email address (called a hash) may be shared with the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture will be visible publicly alongside your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, ensure that they do not contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and access location data from such images.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, you may choose to save your name, email, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience and will last for one year.
When visiting our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to check if your browser supports cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is removed once you close your browser.
When you log in, several cookies will be created to save your login information and display preferences. Login cookies last two days, while display settings cookies last for a year. Selecting “Remember Me” extends your login for two weeks. Logging out removes the login cookies.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser, containing only the ID of the article you edited. This cookie expires in one day.
Embedded content from other websites
Our site may include embedded content like videos, images, or articles. Embedded content behaves as if you visited the originating website directly. These external sites may collect your data, use cookies, and track your interactions, especially if you are logged into their services.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, both the comment and its metadata are stored indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognize and approve follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For registered users, we store the personal information provided in their profiles. Users can view, edit, or delete their personal details anytime (except their username). Administrators can also access and modify this information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account or have left comments on our site, you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. You may also ask us to delete any personal data, excluding data retained for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be processed through an automated spam detection service.
